#46: What looks like you will die but what's really you will live on

AM BLABBERING (But photos under the cut)

I never want to forget this fab feeling. And I truly truly am thankful for being a fourteener and everyone was so awesome today. Players (great job you guys!), cheerers (oh I love cheerers + actions, too cute!) , shooters (sorry we couldn't watch you all), bannerers (jiaxuan for design and everyone who painted (even the wall sockets/switchbox hahaha)) and the almighty support system (thankyou water people you are our bloodlines and thanks julia g for iceing them!).

Our 9game winning streak and rounding it off gave me this high And the results announcement was so surreal and we shrieked and shrieked because it was unexpected 2nd 2nd can you believe it! 24+teachers to thank for that. Playing against teachers (omg just saw a photo that makes the height difference so obvious D: D:) was a novel experience I am honoured to be part of hahaha.

<img height="120" [15] NETCARN SECOND SECOND SECOND LUVLUVLUV [16] Last netball carn sadface sadface [17] (ETA) I love looking at the row of fourteeners behind :) They are the most supportive ever :) :)

Thankyou kristy and jiaxuan for photos (here) (and minyee for taking them?)

Fourfourteen I think has made me better. I mean people read, people share, people sing, people party, people care and I can only hope that I ever find that atmosphere somewhere else again. I am going to miss fourfourteen very very much :(

Partly for shanjee, "Every song has a CODA, a final movement. Whether it fades out or crashes away. Every song ends. Is that any reason not to enjoy the music? The truth is, there is nothing to be afraid of. It's just life." -Ellie, One Tree Hill (The Wind That Blew My Heart Away)

#40: Sepia glory/ casualty call

Destruction capsules magnified ten times scatter across the sky. The metallic closeness of explosion stretches on the roof of your mouth. Then comes the pressure collapsing the throat, and the suffocating intention of permeating red. "Hey, hey, it's gonna be okay"; but this is the incessant oscillation between false-forever and finality.

In another instant, the dust will settle and the ashes of 70 million will lie below. The audacity of shutting your eyes, the offensiveness of the exclamation point; this is an unsettling loss. Such brevity does no justice to the gravity but there appears a futility of action except in the acknowledgment that logic and emotions should never be mutually exclusive.

(This is not intended to be comprehensible, this is my shape of feeling.)
